We designed a 4H-SiC LGAD detector successfully and the gain factor of the detector is about 3@350 V.

We’re pleased to annouce the publication of “High-precision CSNS beam monitor system conceptual design based on SiC”.
We designed a proton beam monitor system for CSNS and calculated the uncertainty of the system to be 0.68%.

We’re pleased to annouce that the RASER Workshop 2024 was successfully held.
The overall situation of the RASER software was introduced in the workshop. Radiation semiconductor detector simulation was introduced in detail during the meeting, including device simulation, charge collection simulation, electronics simulation, time and position resolution simulation. A tutorial for hands-on practice was provided as well.
We’re pleased to annouce the publication of “Electric field measurement by edge transient current technique on silicon low gain avalanche detector”. A novel methodology, named the diffusion profile method, is proposed in this research to measure the electric field of an LGAD. We cross checked this method by both experiment data and RASER simulation.

We’re pleased to annouce the publication of “Feasibility study of CSNS as an ATLAS ITk sensor QA irradiation site “.
We verified the feasibility of CSNS as an ITk sensor QA irradiation site. The results show CSNS could be a suitable proton irradiation site for the ATLAS ITk sensor project, after formal site qualification.
